yeah, I cranked my head into a rubberneck mode the other night while driving my family in our 'motorized suv.' my wife was a little more concerned with me keeping the car on the road than my excitement to see Pizza being delivered by Bakfiets.
I saw a very speedy looking aluminum cargo bike at the Wilds Oats on 15th and Fremont last night. Anybody else seen that around? It had a logo for a health club on the side and funky spoked wheels with Schwalbe tires.
Have any of you seen an ANT frontloadontome in Portland? I used to see what I thought was an ANT in inner southeast and then it disappeared. Or perhaps it was a mermaid.
Richard, I have seen that speedy looing trike w/ aluminum box at the ecotrust building (patagonia) in the pearl dist. several times. It looks nice. I think I saw you mid-day on monday on your bike as I was heading N on I-5 near the curves. You were riding over I-5 on an overpass. Matt
Matt - yah, I just saw the trike yesterday on MLK. "Recess Fitness" or some such sticker on it. Will have to do some Google research...
I don't think that was me since I haven't been out since Sunday on mine. Maybe it was Dean of CleverCycles or Scott M. who has been riding Todd's bike as of late.
It was probably me. I've been crossing I-5 quite regularly as it has better grades to downtown from University Park neighborhood where I live. In fact, I'm about to head out and do that now, so if you see a Yellow Framed / Black Box Bakfiets on an I-5 overpass this morning, it is probably me. :)

I have seen a few of those around town. It's only fitting that some of these cargo bikes zoom down through Swan Island.
